Royals option Jorge Soler to Triple-A
The Kansas City Royals optioned outfielder Jorge Soler to Triple-A Omaha.
What It Means:
The 25 year-old has struggled mightily this season, so the Royals seem to be hoping that a stint in the minors will get his bat back in action.
Soler owns a .255 wOBA and a .164/.292/.273 slash line over 65 plate appearances this season. He has just one homer and three RBI's in the big leagues in 2017.
