Arizona won't start Taijuan Walker (blister) on Sunday
Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Taijuan Walker (blister) will not start for Arizona on Sunday against the Miami Marlins.
Walker noted on Friday that the blister on his right index finger is almost heeled, but the team will want him to be 100 percent before taking the mound. The D-backs have yet to announce who will start in his place on Sunday against the Marlins.
Walker has a 3.46 ERA and 4.16 SIERA over 52 innings in 2017. His strikeout rate of 20.6 is just below his career average of 21.4 percent.
