Angels will recall Alex Meyer (back) from the DL to start on Thursday
The Los Angeles Angels are planning on activating starting pitcher Alex Meyer (back) and have him start Thursday versus the Minnesota Twins.
Meyer has been sidelined since last week with a back injury but looks like it will be a minimum stay on the DL after he successfully made it through a bullpen session on Monday.
Meyer has struck out 10.8 batters per nine innings this season but holds a miserable 5.79 ERA in 23 1/3 innings pitched.
