Rangers' Tyson Ross (shoulder) to make one more rehab start

Texas Rangers pitcher Tyson Ross (shoulder) is slated to make one more rehab start on Saturday with Triple-A Round Rock.

What It Means:

Ross was tagged for six earned runs over just 3 1/3 innings on Monday, so the Rangers want him to put in a little more work before sending him to the hill versus big-league competition. Look for the 30-year-old right-hander to join Texas' rotation next week if things go well Saturday. He hasn't seen any major league action since Opening Day in 2016.

From 2013-2015, Ross recorded a 3.07 ERA with 526 strikeouts (24.6 percent) across 516 2/3 innings.
