What It Means:
Hernandez has been dealing with a nagging groin injury lately. The Phillies hope the day off on Friday will help the problem go away. Herandez is expected to be back in the lineup Saturday. Andres Blanco is handling second base while batting second on Friday.
Blanco has gone 8-for-41 (.195) in limited action this season. He has one home run and four RBI's in 45 plate appearances.
