Gregory Polanco activated off Pirates' disabled list
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco was activated from the 10-day disabled list.
Polanco likely won't return to the starting lineup until Friday's series opener versus the New York Mets, but he could be available off the bench for today's series finale with the Atlanta Braves. He missed exactly 10 days due to a left hamstring strain.
Prior to the injury, Polanco was slashing .252/.336/.370 with only one home run and six stolen bases in 135 plate appearances (34 games) this season.
