Padres' Trevor Cahill didn't suffer any structural damage in shoulder
San Diego Padres starting pitcher Trevor Cahill didn't suffer any major structural damage in his right shoulder, an MRI Tuesday revealed.
Cahill will be shut down from throwing for the next 10-14 days after experiencing lingering soreness in his right shoulder this past weekend. He's not expected to return to the Padres' major league rotation until mid-to-late June.
Cahill owns a 3.27 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 29.5 strikeout percentage in 41 1/3 innings this season.
