J.D. Martinez' two home runs, five RBI's not enough as Tigers lose in extras
Detroit Tigers J.D. Martinez had a monster game, blasting two home runs, walking four times and driving in five RBI's as the Tigers fell 13-11 to the Baltimore Orioles in the 13th inning.
That makes four home runs, four runs scored and eight RBI's in four games since making his debut this season for Martinez, who missed the start of the year with a foot injury.
numberFire's models project Martinez to hit .293 and tally another 14 home runs, 42 runs scored and 46 RBI's through 319 plate appearances.
