Indians believe Carlos Carrasco will make his next start
Cleveland Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco (pectoral) is tentatively scheduled to make his next start on May 23 against the Cincinnati Reds.
That would be next Tuesday. Mike Clevinger will move up in the rotation to start versus the Houston Astros on Saturday. Carrasco was lifted from Monday's start against the Tampa Bay Rays due to tightness in his left pectoral muscle.
Carrasco owns an impressive 2.60 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 26.8 strikeout percentage in 52 innings this season. He's 4-2 in eight starts.
