Angels to be without Yunel Escobar (hamstring) for two-to-four weeks
Los Angles Angels third baseman Yunel Escobar (hamstring) is expected to miss two-to-four weeks.
Escobar suffered a Grade 1 hamstring strain on Saturday prompting a move to the 10-day disabled list for the third baseman. Recently demoted infielder Jefry Marte is expected to get a quick call up to split time with Luis Valbuena at third base while Escobar is out.
Escobar was off to a nice start this season with a .321 wOBA, .735 OPS, and 22 runs scored in 170 plate appearances.
