Michael Taylor's two-run blast lifts Washington past the Phillies
Washington Nationals outfielder Michael Taylor launched an eighth-inning two-run home run to lift the Nats to a 6-5 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.
Galvis finished the day 1-for-4 from the dish, striking out three times, but he came through when it counted, taking Pat Neshek yard to win the game for Washington.
Taylor is slashing .267/.300/.427 with a .311 wOBA through 80 plate appearances this season.
