Arizona loses A.J. Pollock to groin injury on Sunday

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder A.J. Pollock was removed from Sunday's game versus the Pittsburgh Pirates due to a right groin injury.

What It Means:

A groin injury ended Pollock's season after just 12 games in 2016 and it was an issue again during spring training. If he's forced to miss any time, it's not clear how long it may be. He went 2-for-5 on Sunday and was walked once.

Pollock owns a .299/.337/.455 slash across 163 plate appearances this season with 2 home runs, 11 RBI's and 11 stolen bases.
