Carlos Gomez leaves Rangers' game with hamstring strain
Texas Rangers outfielder Carlos Gomez was forced to leave Sunday's game against the Oakland Athletics with a right hamstring strain.
Gomez is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury but expect the outfielder to be out for a few days. He was 3-for-3 with one run scored and one stolen base when he left in the eighth inning.
Gomez is batting .246/.331/.423 with four home runs and five stolen bases in 164 plate appearances this season.
