Aaron Altherr guides Phils' comeback win over Nats

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Aaron Altherr hit his eighth home run of the season Sunday's 4-3 comeback victory over the Washington Nationals.

What It Means:

Altherr led off the top of the ninth with a solo home run to narrow the score and spur the Phillies' to a three-run rally off of Nats' closer Shawn Kelley. He added a single and walk in the game to finish 2-for-3 on the day.

Altherr has been a revelation for Philly, batting .350 with a .493 wOBA, 1.197 OPS, and .400 ISO in 94 plate appearances this season.
