Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Steven Souza (thumb) is out of the lineup again on Wednesday versus the Kansas City Royals.
What It Means:
Souza also missed Tuesday's game after injuring his thumb on Monday night. The team is calling him day-to-day. Colby Rasmus is starting in right field and hitting sixth Wednesday against right-hander Jason Hammel and the Royals.
