Michael Conforto not in the lineup for the Mets on Wednesday
New York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's game against the San Francisco Giants.
What It Means:
It just looks to be a day of rest for Conforto, and Juan Lagares will draw the start in center field and bat eighth. Curtis Granderson shifts to left while Jose Reyes will replace Conforto as the leadoff man.
Conforto has had a terrific start to the season, slashing .330/.425/.648 with a .440 wOBA through 106 plate appearances.
