Aaron Sanchez (finger) could return for Toronto next weekend
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) could rejoin the rotation as soon as next weekend.
Sanchez will make a rehab start with the Gulf Coast League Blue Jays on Tuesday if all goes well during a bullpen session on Sunday. He should be back in the rotation next weekend, barring any setbacks.
Sanchez has a 4.05 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 18.2 strikeout rate across 13 1/3 innings pitched this season. He's 0-1 through three starts.
