Danny Valencia has a big game in Mariners' rout of the Angels
Seattle Mariners infielder Danny Valencia was 4-for-5 from the dish on Thursday, driving in three RBI's and swatting a solo home run as the Mariners cruised to an 11-3 win over the Los Angeles Angels.
Valencia has been struggling from the dish this year, slashing .221/.284/.395 with a .294 wOBA through 95 plate appearances, so Thursday's big game was a welcome change of pace for the veteran.
numberFire's models project Valencia to hit .280 while adding 13 home runs, 50 runs scored and 50 RBI's in 415 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
