Calf cramp forces Carlos Gonzalez to leave Rockies' win

Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez left the Rockies 11-inning win over the San Diego Padres in the ninth inning with a calf cramp.

What It Means:

Gonzalez was lifted for precautionary reasons but should still be considered day-to-day to see if the outfielder still has an issue with the calf on Friday. Alexi Amarista switched from shortstop to right field with Trevor Story coming into the game to play short after Gonzalez left.

Cargo owns a .200 batting average with just two home runs and six RBI's in 112 plate appearances this season.
