Logan Forsythe

Dodgers have Logan Forsythe (toe) playing in a rehab game on Tuesday

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Logan Forsythe (toe) is at designated hitter for High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday night.

What It Means:

Tuesday is the first of three rehab games for Forsythe, who has been on the disabled list since April 19 with a fractured toe. If all goes well, he will be back up on the big-league roster as early as Friday. Chase Utley has logged most of the time at second with Chris Taylor making the occasional start in Forsythe's absence.

Forsythe was batting .295/.407/.341 with seven runs scored and three RBI's in 54 plate appearances before the injury.
