Rays activate Jake Odorizzi from disabled list
Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi has been activated from the 10-day disabled list.
What It Means:
Odorizzi has been out since April 15 due to a left hamstring strain. The 27-year-old right-hander didn't require a minor league rehab assignment.
Prior to landing on the disabled list, Odorizzi spun a 4.15 ERA and 15.4 strikeout percentage with a career-best 1.00 WHIP across 13 innings (three starts).
