Wil Myers' three-run blast leads the Padres past the Giants

San Diego Padres first baseman/outfielder Wil Myers blasted a three-run homer in the 12th inning on Sunday, propelling the Padres to a 5-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants.

The Padres and Myers were shutdown most of the day, getting shutout through eight innings before scoring two runs in the ninth to tie the game. Before Myers hit the game-winning bomb, he was 0-for-5 with two strikeouts.
