Carlos Gomez hits for the cycle Saturday in Texas
Texas Rangers centerfielder Carlos Gomez hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning Saturday against the Los Angeles Angels to complete the cycle.
Gomez hit for the cycle way back on May 7, 2008 when he was a member of the Twins and for some reason he has been very good on Saturday games this year. Gomez has also started to heat up at the plate, going 13-for-34 (.382) over his last nine games.
Our models project Gomez to post a .255 average with 13 homers, 44 RBI's and 20 stolen bases over 404 plate appearances remaining this season.
