Anthony Rendon, Ryan Zimmerman not in Washington's lineup Thursday
Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman and third baseman Anthony Rendon will get the day off on Thursday as the Nats travel to Colorado to take on the Rockies.
What It Means:
It looks like it's just a day of rest for these two. Adam Lind will start at first base and bat fifth, while Wilmer Difo will get the nod at third and bat eighth against right-hander Antonio Senzatela.
Zimmerman has been outstanding to start the 2017 season, slashing .387/.439/.800 with a .517 wOBA through 82 plate appearances while cranking eight home runs and driving in 21 scores.
