Kyle Seager says hip is healed, available off Mariners' bench Tuesday
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager told reporters Tuesday that his hip feels fine.
Seager was scratched from Sunday's matchup with the Oakland Athletics due to a sore hip. He won't start tonight versus the Detroit Tigers, but is expected to be available off the bench. Taylor Motter is starting at third for Seattle while Jean Segura (hamstring) returns to shortstop.
Over 75 plate appearances (19 games) this season, Seager is slashing .246/.360/.344 while posting a .305 wOBA with no home runs and 12 RBI's.
