Jake Odorizzi (hamstring) set to rejoin Rays' rotation on May 1
Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi (hamstring) is on track to rejoin the rotation on May 1 in Miami.
Odorizzi has been on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring that he says is no longer an issue. The 27-year-old right-hander recorded a 4.15 ERA across 13 innings (three starts) this season prior to going down.
numberFire's models project Odorizzi to record a 3.95 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 19.6 strikeout percentage over the remainder of the season while going 10-8 across 171 innings.
