Marcus Stroman goes the distance in Blue Jays' win
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Marcus Stroman tossed a complete game in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels, surrendering two runs (one earned) on seven hits.
Sunday was Stroman's second complete game of the year, needing only 99 pitches to finish off the Angels. He threw 63 strikes as he walked just one and struck out five. Overall, a nice bounce back game from a disastrous outing against the Boston Red Sox last week. He will face the Tampa Bay Rays in his next start on Saturday.
Stroman owns a 2-2 record with a 3.10 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and 18 strikeouts in 29.0 innings pitched this season.
