Logan Forsythe lands on Dodgers' disabled list with broken toe

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Logan Forsythe was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right big toe fracture.

What It Means:

Forsythe was originally diagnosed with a toe contusion, but it's now been revealed that he sustained a fracture. He's expected to spend about two weeks on the sidelines. Chase Utley will see more opportunity while Forsythe is out, primarily against right-handed pitchers, per Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.

Forsythe is slashing .295/.407/.341 across 54 plate appearances (14 games) this season.
