Yankees' Gary Sanchez (biceps) expected back early-to-mid May
New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez (biceps) played catch Wednesday from a distance of 60 feet.
What It Means:
Sanchez continues to work his way back from a Grade 1 biceps strain and is looking at a return in early-to-mid May if all continues to go according to plan. Austin Romine will continue serving as the primary backstop with Kyle Higashioka behind him.
numberFire's models currently project Sanchez to record a .264 batting average with 24 home runs and 70 RBI's once he gets back to the active roster.
