Tigers sitting Justin Upton (forearm) following Tuesday's collision

Detroit Tigers outfielder Justin Upton (forearm) is out of the starting lineup Wednesday versus the Tampa Bay Rays.

What It Means:

Upton is day-to-day after he suffered a right forearm contusion on a collision with Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Tim Beckham on Tuesday. Andrew Romine is replacing Upton in left field and hitting seventh versus Rays righty Chris Archer.
