Orioles' Seth Smith leaves early Tuesday with hamstring strain

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Seth Smith left Tuesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds with a right hamstring strain.

What It Means:

Smith was also bothered by hamstring problems this past spring, so the Orioles may want to play it safe with a brief stint on the disabled list. The 34-year-old outfielder was replaced by Trey Mancini in the sixth inning on Tuesday.

Despite the hamstring woes, Smith owns an impressive .259/.355/.593 slash and .402 wOBA across 31 plate appearances this season with a pair of longballs and three RBI's.
