Ender Inciarte homers as Braves get first win in new ballpark
Atlanta Braves outfielder Ender Inciarte was front-and-center in Friday’s 5-2 victory over the San Diego Padres, going 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and two runs scored.
What It Means:
Inciarte recorded the first put-out in the top of the first, followed by SunTrust Park's first hit and run in the bottom of the first. He also got the park's first home run in the sixth inning to round out a solid day at the dish. His power numbers have been a nice boost for fantasy owners early in the season, but they may not continue.
Our models project Inciarte for a .290 average, one homer, 34 RBI's and 17 steals over 544 plate appearances remaining this season.
