Matt Harvey (hamstring) expected to make Sunday's start for Mets
New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey (hamstring) is expected to start against the Miami Marlins on Sunday.
Harvey left Tuesday's contest early in the sixth inning, but the victory was already well in hand and the hamstring issue isn't expected to be anything serious. The 28-year-old right-hander should be good to go for Sunday.
Through two starts in 2017, Harvey is 2-0 with a 2.92 ERA, 0.73 WHIP and 22.2 strikeout percentage (10 punchouts) across 12 1/3 innings.
