Mets' David Wright (shoulder) is throwing again
New York Mets third baseman David Wright (shoulder) resumed a throwing program last Friday.
Wright continues to work his way back from a shoulder impingement while also battling a lingering bout of spinal stenosis. There is no current timetable for his return. The 34-year-old veteran has been limited to 75 total combined games over the past two seasons.
Wright was off to a solid start in 2016 prior to neck surgery, posting a .344 wOBA in 164 plate appearances, paired with a .212 ISO, which would have been his highest mark since the 2010 season.
