Starling Marte blasts walk-off homer in 10th for Pirates
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte blasted a walk-off two-run homer in the 10th inning on Sunday, powering the Pirates to a 6-5 victory over the Atlanta Braves.
Marte's blast capped a late-inning comeback for Pittsburgh, who had been trailing all day. The outfielder finished his day 4-for-5 with one home run, two runs scored, and two RBI's. In the three-game series, Marte batted .583 with four runs scored and four RBI's.
After five games played, Marte is hitting .381/.417/.524 with four runs scored and five RBI's in 24 plate appearances.
