Adam Eaton

Washington starting season with Adam Eaton batting second

Washington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton will bat second on Opening Day against the Miami Marlins.

What It Means:

Nationals manager Dusty Baker previously said he preferred not to hit Eaton, Bryce Harper and Daniel Murphy consecutively, so we'll see how long this Opening Day lineup sticks. Anthony Rendon's (calf) absence may have something to do with it, as well as the lack of lefties in the Marlins' bullpen.

Eaton is projected to hit .287 with 11 home runs, 54 RBI's and 12 stolen bases across 607 plate appearances this season, according to numberFire's models. He's a strong DFS play today and costs $3,300 on FanDuel.
