White Sox' Carlos Rodon (biceps) officially placed on DL
The Chicago White Sox placed starting pitcher Carlos Rodon on the 10-day disabled list with left biceps tendinitis.
Good news is there was no structural damage, and Rodon will just need to rest. Expect the White Sox to be cautious with Rodon early on this season, especially with the team in rebuilding mode. Dylan Covey is projected to take the 24-year-old's spot in the rotation.
Rodon was projected, by our algorithms, for nine wins, a 3.79 ERA, and 1.39 WHIP with 164 punchouts in 159 innings this season.
