Blue Jays' Devon Travis likely to require arthroscopic surgery
Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis is expected to require arthroscopic surgery after being diagnosed with a bone bruise and cartilage damage in his right knee.
Travis won't be available for Toronto for the remainder of the postseason, but he's expected to be ready to roll by the time spring training arrives. Per the Blue Jays, an MRI "revealed a bone bruise with a very small flap of cartilage caught in the joint."
Travis managed one hit in 12 plate appearances in the three games he played this postseason.
