Devon Travis (knee) preparing to play in Game 1 Friday
Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis (knee) said he expects to be in the Blue Jays' starting lineup for Game 1 of the American League Championship Series on Friday against the Cleveland Indians.
"As long as everything responds well," Travis added. He's been held out since Game 1 of the ALDS due to irritation in his right knee. Darwin Barney has been filling in at second for Toronto.
numberFire's MLB Team Power Rankings currently give the Blue Jays the third-highest odds of winning the World Series at 17.5 percent. Travis managed one hit in 10 plate appearances in the two games he played this postseason.
