Matt Moore deals eight innings of one-run ball in Giants' win
San Francisco Giants pitcher Matt Moore allowed only one run over eight innings in a 7-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday, clinching the giants' place in the National League Wild Card game.
Moore only allowed three hits and two walks while striking out six in what was an impressive way to end the regular season.
Moore posted a 4.08 ERA on the season, and while he had a shaky 4.39 SIERA, that was also his best mark since 2013.
