Washington Nationals infielder Daniel Murphy (glute) remained out of the lineup Friday.
What It Means:
Murphy last played on September 20 due to a strained left glute. Stephen Drew is starting at second as the Nationals prepare for the postseason.
The 31-year-old Murphy is enjoying career-highs across the board with a .347/.391/.596 slash, .409 wOBA and .249 ISO in 581 plate appearances. His 25 home runs and 104 RBI's are also the most he's put up in a season.
