Blue Jays battling Baltimore without Devon Travis (shoulder)
Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis (shoulder) is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Baltimore Orioles.
What It Means:
The severity of the injury to Travis' left shoulder that forced him out of Monday's contest against the New York Yankees remains unknown. Darwin Barney is replacing him at second base for Tuesday's tilt with the Orioles. Ezequiel Carrera is leading off and starting in right field.
Travis' efficiency this season hasn't quite matched his 2015 rookie numbers, but he has been decent from the plate, slashing .299/.331/.447 with a .334 wOBA through 415 plate appearances.
