Pirates' Gregory Polanco (face) remains sidelined
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco (face) is out of the lineup again Monday against the Chicago Cubs.
Polanco ran into the left field wall Friday, resulting in a left facial contusion that has kept him out since. His expected return date is unknown. Josh Bell will start in right field for Pittsburgh on Monday. John Jaso is manning first.
The 24-year-old Polanco is having a career year from the dish during his third year in the majors, slashing .260/.324/.472 with a .334 wOBA and .211 ISO through 569 plate appearances.
