Lorenzo Cain's (wrist) season likely done for Royals

Kansas City Royals outfielder Lorenzo Cain (wrist) is "probably not [going to play again in 2016]," said manager Ned Yost.

What It Means:

Per Yost, Cain's wrist isn't healing at the pace the club had hoped. He hasn't been available since September 9 due to discomfort that has bothered him since August. The 30-year-old outfielder has been limited to 103 games in 2016 with a myriad of injuries.

Cain is slashing .287/.339/.408 with 9 jacks, 56 RBI's and 14 steals across 434 appearances at the dish.
