Miguel Sano could return to Twins' lineup this week
Minnesota Twins third baseman/outfielder Miguel Sano (back) is hoping to rejoin the Twins' lineup by midweek after an MRI came back relatively clean.
Twins' manager Paul Molitor said that the MRI showed some signs of an old injury but team doctors aren't worried about it. Sano is going to try to take batting practice on Tuesday and if all goes well he should return to the lineup.
Sano's production has fallen a bit from his rookie year, but he is still having a decent year, slashing .236/.322/.459 with a .334 wOBA and .223 ISO through 453 plate appearances.
