Cubs resting Anthony Rizzo and other starters on Saturday
Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo, second baseman Ben Zobrist and a host of other Cubs regulars are sitting out Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
What It Means:
Kris Bryant, Willson Contreras and Javier Baez are the only starters in Saturday's starting lineup. The Cubs have clinched the NL Central and after most of their stars sat out Friday, Joe Maddon seems to be giving his regulars more rest on Saturday. It would not be surprising to see more of them sit out Sunday as well.
