Brewers' Keon Broxton diagnosed with fractured wrist after early exit
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Keon Broxton has been diagnosed with a fractured right wrist.
Broxton made an impressive running catch at Wrigley Field during Friday's contest, but unfortunately ran into the brick outfield wall. It's a rough end to the year for the outfielder and he will likely be replaced by Kirk Nieuwenhuis as the Brewers' main man in center field over the remainder of the season.
The 26-year-old Broxton is hitting .242/.354/.430 with a .343 wOBA in 244 plate appearances this season. He has 23 steals in 27 attempts in his first full year in the majors.
