Athletics giving Danny Valencia some rest Wednesday
Oakland Athletics infielder Danny Valencia is getting the day off Wednesday.
What It Means:
Max Muncy is starting in right field for Oakland and hitting seventh against the Los Angeles Angels and right-hander Alex Meyer. On Tuesday night versus the Angels, Valencia went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
The 31-year-old infielder is hitting .294/.349/.465 while posting a .350 wOBA with 16 home runs and 47 RBI's across 438 plate appearances this season.
