Jonathan Villar stuffs the stat sheet as Brewers blow out Cubs
Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Jonathan Villar had a triple, a home run and a stolen base on 3-for-5 hitting Tuesday as the Brewers blew out the Chicago Cubs 12-5.
Villar has put together a really nice stretch of games lately, with three home runs, seven runs scored and seven RBI's over his last eight games (32 plate appearances).
It has been a career year from the dish for the 25-year-old Villar, who is slashing .297/.376/.453 with career-bests in wOBA (.358) and ISO (.156) through 578 plate appearances.
