Lorenzo Cain still not playing for Royals on Sunday
Kansas City Royals outfielder Lorenzo Cain (wrist) remains out of the Royals' lineup Sunday against the Detroit Tigers.
Cain has not played since Tuesday and has apparently been dealing with this wrist injury for longer than that. He got a cortisone shot recently and said he hopes to be ready to go by Monday, so for now he is still day-to-day. Jarrod Dyson is once again in centerfield on Sunday and batting eighth against Daniel Norris.
Cain has struggled a bit this season, slashing .287/.336/.409 through 429 plate appearances. His .320 wOBA is his lowest since 2013.
